20 things I've learned by 25

I haven't lived a super long life, but at 25, I am pretty sure I have lived a lot. So, I decided to write some advice I wish I have had when I was younger to be prepared.

1. People come and go. Friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, cousins, bosses, etc. It's okay. Someday you will understand why they left and why they stayed.
2. Crying doesn't make you weak. It's an emotion, it makes you human.
3. Boys are confusing. Don't let that get to you.
4. Forgive. It's very important that you don't hold a grudge, live free of hate and remorse.
5. People when they get angry say ugly stuff, they mean it. Learn from it. Don't let it get you down.
6. Always be your crazy self. Don't try changing for people to accept you. If they don't, well their loss. You are way to cool for them anyways.
7. Friends are not always there. Either they are busy or they are having a bad day too, it's okay, that doesn't mean they aren't true friends.
8. Dating is really cool. It doesn't matter if it's with a special someone or more, it's cool, refreshing and exciting!
9. Don't waste your time looking for love. Love will come uninvited.
10. Speak out! Tell every single person how you feel, you will never regret it. It's better to live knowing that you said everything instead of living with doubt.
11. SLEEP.
12. Talk to people, leave the phone a side. If the person you are talking to it's really interesting there's no need to be on Facebook.
13. Spend time with your family. You never know when you have to leave them, because when you are away you are gonna miss the hell out of them.
14. Look up to someone (or some). You will learn a lot.
15. Always, always try new food, activies, books, etc.
16. Take yourself on a date. It's good to be quiet for a while.
17. Travel alone. You will lose fear and it will teach you A LOT.
18. Surrond yourself with (or follow) inspiring people.
19. Dedicate a day for only you. Shower. Do your hair. Do your make up. Do your nails.
20. Enjoy a concert. Don't watch it through your phone's camera.

The pleasure in nice lil' things

I always believed when people said "what goes around comes around" but never considered it like a "rule to live by". People usually do their regular duties without noticing the reactions they are causing in their lifes and others.

You know, if you do something bad or good you don't immediately relate it with what will happen next. But if you acknowledge the little things you do every single day, you will notice the effect they have on your life.

Of course if you do something good and you are thinking something like "YES YES I AM GETTING THIS AWESOME NEW WHATEVER THING I AM WISHING FOR" just for doing that lil' thing, prabably it won't happen.

Just the other day while moving around on public transport, a girl asked me if I had change of a large bill, because the driver didn't, and I didn't either. But I offered to pay the fee, she said thanks and I continued with my day.

Then, 2 days after, I needed to get real fast to my house so I could be in time for my work out, and just when I was crossing the street the lil' bus that takes me home was stopping behind me. I jumped in it and got there in time.

The whole ride I was thinking like "Woah this must be luck", nah darling, it was a reaction to something nice I did.

You see, not every "reward" you have to get for being cool has to be something really big, just notice the good things you do and compare them to the cool things that happen to you afterwards.

Pay attention to your nice acts and see what happens next, you will acknowledge the power of doing nice things for others.

Social Media had me at Register Now!

Why Social Media Creep?
It's an identity I gave myself to what I do, without adding the word "expert" and sounding snobby.

My actual online profile it's really accurate to who I am in "the real life", way to chill and creepy, sometimes. Not always. Please don't get scared.

I have been active in the Social Media world since 2003, I was 13. Yes, I had a Hi5 profile. And actually met really cool people, who as a matter of fact, they are still friends with me. Thank you, for putting up with my crazyness.

Since then, I fell in love with what we know now as Social Media. The way you share and have to stay active and creative to matter to certain group of friends (or in business to an audience) captivated me.

Then along came MSNGroups, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Snapchat, Youtube, Tumblr, Blogspot, Pinterest, Vine, and way way to many more (where I am active of course!)

So how the H I ended up being an active content creator?

Harry Potter. Yes. I am a fan. So in MSNGroups I created my first "Site" where I started writing and having cool followers who were also fans.

I was a child when I started writting, then everything developed from there.

As a result of studying Marketing my passion strengthened. I knew what I wanted to do.  Blending my love for Social Media and Advertising? Hell yeah.

Then, I decided to make a living out of it, as a creative content creator in a Digital Advertsing Agency, where I started as an Intern (the whole purpose of this blog) and in times a Community Manager.

Nowadays, I can be sure I made the right choice, when I see an ad or a success story with Social Media and I get goosebumps. It makes me feel awake and aware of the impact I could some day have on someone.

Essentially a Social Media Creep is a character who loves to create content at heart and likes to connect with people in another level.

The idea of Fall it's beautiful and nostalgic at the same time, you know the warm weather is leaving and soon everything that was green turns orangey. But you know, it's the beginning of the coolest (literally) holidays! And that excites me a-l-o-t.
